Why BOSE Headphones are So Expensive- A Detailed Study

Especially the development costs that the brand entails and technology. But you can assume that brands like these have good margins. Bose has a 3-2-1 system that was already there 20 years ago. The sound sounds pure, and the design looks good, but many people indeed cannot hear the difference between Bose and others, for example, which is certainly not inferior to a Bose.

Why Bose is Boss

Because they have a first-class design and first-class materials with excellent noise suppression and high audio quality, especially for calls.

The suppression of active noise in headphones has become fashionable in the way of real wireless, after its integration in the headband headphones.

BOSE Headphones

In gross mode, this system works thanks to one or more integrated microphones that record the sound from the outside and then, depending on it, emit an inverted sound wave that suppresses the ambient sound.

Here, Homeplix tested one of the best headphones under $300 with this technology, the Bose Noise Canceling, Wireless, which is the manufacturer’s flagship and offers some improvements over the previous Bose models.

Elegance and comfort

Bose sets standards in terms of audio quality and pays great attention to the aesthetics premium, even with devices made of materials. The Bose Noise Canceling impresses with its elegant yet modern and discreet appearance. It is the aesthetics that are expected from a high-end product and the price of which is not suitable for every budget.

Although they are of the circumoral type (they cover the entire ear), they do not look bulky even in the smallest heads. Though not the most elegant, they’re attractive enough for filmmakers looking for headphones as a fashion accessory.

The outer part, which covers the ears, and the headband, which is also suitable for the smallest heads, are made of high-quality black plastic. In the inner zone, the comfortable foam pads are covered with a leather that is as elegant as it is soft.

These sit very comfortably in the ears, although they can get hot especially in summer, as is common with headphones that wrap around the ears. Of course, in winter they will take your cold off as you walk down the street.

The right headphone has a touch zone (on the front) to control playback (increase and decrease volume, skip to the next or previous track, pause audio, and manage incoming calls). Touch controls worked very precisely in our tests, are very convenient and intuitive to use. This helmet also has two physical buttons, one for power and Bluetooth, and one for activating the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.

In the left earbud, the physical noise control button is used to switch between three standard noise cancellation levels in the app and activate talk mode.

The inside of the skull band also contains a cushion, this time covered with an extremely soft material that is very, very comfortable. This does not bother you even if you have worn it for a few hours.

The headphones rotate and remain flat so that they can be stored and transported. When you buy them, they are kept in a very elegant and practical, rigid case that can be opened and closed with a zipper and in which there is a compartment with a magnetic closure that houses the USB-C cable for charging and the audio cable with plug are jack 3.5 mm to connect to other devices with this input. One detail to note: They can be connected to two devices at the same time. Keep reading TrueCaller, The best ally against telephone spam

Exceptional and adjustable noise cancellation

The Bose noise cancellation system is based on eight microphones, six of which are designed to suppress outside noise and two to record voice when calling using an environment-adapted system.

One of the advantages over the previous model of the brand is that the level of noise suppression can be regulated via the Bose Music app. Offers up to 10 levels. In our tests, the maximum noise level for public transport is at its highest level, but not 100 percent (for example, we heard the noise of the wheels in the subway in a long tunnel).

However, with certain exceptions, it can be said that they offer excellent noise cancellation. With its special design, but nothing bulky, just put it on to notice that the outside sound is less filtered.

If you take a call using public transport, you can make calls without any problems, we assure you. If you use it in the office and someone speaks to you to stop playback and listen to that person, activate conversation mode by pressing the physical button on the left helmet for a second.

You can configure the headset to use only three levels of noise cancellation in the headset’s touch zone (levels 0, 5, and 10). This makes more sense than changing the levels in the app and is also more convenient because it fulfills all requirements: nothing, medium and the highest suppression of external noise.

Good autonomy and quick charging

The headphones offer up to 20 hours of autonomy, enough time for a long journey. If the battery is empty, you can continue to use it with a cable as long as the mobile phone has a jack 3.5 mm jack. You can charge it in two and a half hours.

Every time you turn it on, a voice will tell you how much battery is left. This is a very useful function to always charge the batteries and to which mobile phone model they were connected. The best thing is that they charge quickly: you plug them in for 15 minutes and have three and a half hours of autonomy.

The automatic switch-off is activated after an hour without using it to protect the battery.

If you plan to purchase something new, you can go through some headphone reviews and I can only give you 1 piece of advice: Listen to different sets (within your budget) with your music and buy something that sounds good to you, so don’t buy something because the seller/friends/forum members think something sounds good.
